As I have super dry hands, I am always on the lookout for nourishing hand creams. I spotted this hand cream at the Wellcome store, Hong Kong while buying our groceries. At that time, I had no idea about this brand. Then I researched and found out that Kamill is the top-selling hand cream brand in Germany. And it is also a well-known brand in the hand & body care field in the beauty industry.
Kamill hand & nail cream is available in in more than six variants. I got the Intensive one which is further available in 3 sizes 250ml, 100ml, and 30ml tubes. Wellcome store had the 100ml size product. Hence, I picked that for myself. They are also available in tub packagings, but I find tube versions more hygienic and user-friendly.
Kamill hand and nail cream comes in a green & white colored tube with a flip-top cap. You can find product-related information such as claims, ingredients, shelf-life, company details, everything on the back of the packaging. The packaging is lightweight, spill-proof, and easy to carry around.
Kamill Intensive hand & nail cream with aloe vera and avocado oil is white. It has a soft, smooth, creamy texture with a thick consistency. Upon application, it emits a sweet herbal fragrance that is mild and not overpowering. Remember, this intensive hand cream contains parfum (fragrance), so if you are sensitive to fragrance-infused skincare products, then skip it.
To keep my hands and nails moisturized, I used to take only a pea-sized amount of this cream. Despite having a thick texture, it spreads nicely and never feels greasy!
Kamill intensive hand and nail cream is rich in nourishing ingredients like aloe vera, chamomile, and avocado oil and is free of alcohol! This intensive hand cream takes a while to get absorbed, and it kept my super dry, parched hands moisturized for 3-4 hours. Considering the number of times I wash my hands, I need good hydrating hand creams to keep them soft and supple, and Kamill hand cream does a decent job in that field.
Lately, my hands have started showing signs of lines and wrinkles, and I am pretty worried about it 😞. I used this hand & nail cream multiple times in between my work, yet it lasted me a long time. So price and quantity-wise, it is great! I wish it could help diminish the wrinkles and make my hands super smooth and soft. I cannot comment on its effect on my nails as I’ve been taking biotin supplements for my hair and nails for the past two years.
Kamill intensive hand & nail cream true to its name keeps hands and nails intensely moisturized. It doesn’t feel greasy or heavy and is perfect for those who have just started using hand creams or have normal to oily skin. Those who have super rough hands (like mine) need to use it frequently to keep them nourished. I won’t repurchase it as Kamill has other variants too in their hand cream range and would love to try those!
