Why Klass Quilted Coat and Knit Jumper Make the Perfect Christmas Gift Duo (REVIEW)

I always love gifting and receiving practical presents, whether it’s fashion or beauty. Since the fall season is in full swing and winter is fast approaching, what could be better gifts than genuinely wearable, stylish layers to treat yourself or your loved ones?

A collage of four images documenting the shipping and unpacking of clothing items. The main image on the left shows a large, bright pink and white Klass brand shipping bag. The other three smaller panels show the grey argyle knit jumper and the dark green quilted coat sealed in plastic packaging, with tags visible, suggesting they have just been delivered.

I got an opportunity to try out these lovely fashionable pieces from the UK fashion label Klass. I wore the jumper and coat a couple of times over the past few weeks before sharing my thoughts with you all today. I picked the grey-berry jumper and the forest green coat for myself, but you can choose any color or item you like from their collection. These two pieces from Klass UK make thoughtful Christmas fashion gifts that bring both comfort and sophistication to the season.

Klass Argyle Knit Jumper Review in Grey-Berry Color:

First, let’s talk about this lovely Argyle Knit Jumper. It comes in two colors, Ivory/Green and Grey/Berry. I chose the grey-berry jumper in size small for myself, even though the green one would have paired beautifully with the forest green coat. My love for purple always wins, haha!

The jumper is a classic V-neck pullover with a grey base and a traditional knit design. The highlight is the large, colorful argyle diamond pattern in berry/purple and coral across the front. The argyle lines are shown through tiny diagonal black stitched dashes running across the grey knit. The colorful pattern doesn’t continue on the back; instead, the back is plain grey, which looks nice too. Personally, I care more about the front design than the back anyway 😬.

A four-panel collage showing close-up details of a light grey V-neck argyle knit jumper. The panels highlight the colorful pattern of magenta-purple and coral-pink diamonds, the textured, slightly fuzzy yarn, the black dotted lines of the argyle design, and the ribbed knit on the neckline and cuffs.

The neckline, cuffs, and hem feature a wide, structured ribbed knit trim that gives it a neat and elegant finish.

I wasn’t sure about the color combination at first and wondered if it would suit my brown skin tone. But I was wrong because it compliments my skin really well. Also, given the little extra belly fat I’ve gained lately, I was curious to see how it would look on me. I went for my usual small size, and thankfully it fits perfectly, neither too tight, nor too loose! The length hits just at the hips, which I love. These days, I avoid body-hugging, clingy jumpers 😕.

They don’t currently offer an extra-small (XS) size, so if you’re below a UK 8, you might need to wear a base layer underneath. In these photos, I only wore my regular innerwear to test how the fabric feels against my skin. In the past, when I was skinny, I used to wear thin thermal tops under some sweaters to get a better fit 😄.

Okay, now coming to the main ‘the texture and feel’ feature of this knit jumper. This jumper is lightweight, soft, and slightly fluffy with a breathable knit. It feels more on the acrylic side but still comfortable. It stretches slightly without losing shape, which makes it ideal for layering. It also hides my tummy beautifully (credit goes to its fluffiness) and doesn’t itch or irritate my sensitive skin, which is a huge plus 😍!

I love how it keeps its structure intact even after a full day of wear. I’ve been layering it under my quilted coat and puffer jackets for a chic yet practical winter look. It’s one of those pieces you can easily dress up with gold hoops or keep simple casual with denim 🙂.

A three-panel collage of a woman modeling a light grey V-neck argyle knit jumper with purple and coral-pink diamonds, paired with straight-leg blue jeans and white sneakers. The first two panels show her facing forward and slightly to the side, and the third panel shows her full back view. Text across the bottom reads:

It’s warm enough for mild winter days but breathable indoors. The wool content helps with insulation, while the synthetic blend keeps it from feeling too heavy. The finishing is neat and polished, with a few visible natural fibres around the hem and neckline. The ribbed cuffs and neckline hold their shape beautifully, and the stitching feels sturdy enough to last many washes. I haven’t washed it yet but will update this post later this month once I do.

It’s not a high-end wool jumper, but it definitely punches above its price range. It is soft, versatile, and durable enough for daily wear, so a lovely gift idea for anyone who values comfort and style.

Overall, this knit jumper hits the sweet spot between comfort, style, and practicality. I appreciate how it layers perfectly under coats while staying breathable indoors. If you’re looking for a chic, affordable yet low-maintenance knit this festive season, this one’s a keeper. A wonderful Christmas gift idea for anyone who appreciates style and comfort in one piece 🩷.

Klass Anna Rose Hooded Zig Zag Quilted Coat Review in Forest Green:

Along with the jumper, I also got this stunning Hooded zig zag quilted coat from Klass’s Anna Rose coat collection. This is available in two colors – Dark Navy and Forest Green. I picked the Forest Green (lean toward dark teal) in a small size for myself and couldn’t be happier! Again, their size range starts from small only.

A four-panel collage showing close-up details of a dark forest green hooded quilted coat. The panels highlight the geometric zig-zag quilting pattern, the metal snap buttons and zipper, the coat's smooth lining, and the 'Anna Rose' brand label visible inside the neck. A corner of a pink and purple knit garment is visible in one of the panels.

The Klass Anna Rose quilted coat comes with a detachable hood and a drawcord, secured with a zipper. The coat is mid-thigh length and features a subtle geometric quilting pattern, forming a continuous zig-zag design across the body and sleeves. The flattering quilting adds structure, and the forest green tone feels festive without being loud. This color is such a refreshing break from usual black and navy 😍!

Both the outer shell and lining are made of 100% polyester. The collection name “Anna Rose” is stitched in white thread on a green patch at the back of the neck. For a polyester coat, the quality feels surprisingly premium! The fabric has a silky smooth finish, and the quilting gives it structure without bulk. It feels lightweight yet cozy, a balance not every winter coat gets right. The zig-zag pattern is perfectly stitched, keeping the wadding evenly spread so there are no awkward puffed spots

I am 5’5’’ and the coat sits just below my hip, giving a balanced silhouette. It layers easily over jumpers without feeling tight around the arms or shoulders. The detachable hood with drawcord is also a practical touch. It can be adjustable for windy days but easy to remove when you want a sleeker look 😍.

A three-panel collage showcasing a woman modeling a casual autumn outfit. The left panel shows her wearing a dark forest green, zig-zag quilted, hooded coat over a grey argyle knit jumper and blue jeans. The center panel shows her holding the coat open, revealing the grey and colorful argyle jumper underneath, standing in front of a large red architectural structure. The right panel shows her holding the coat draped over one arm, clearly displaying the purple and pink argyle diamond pattern of the jumper. Text across the bottom banner reads:

The front closure has a central zipper and a row of metal snap buttons along the placket. The zip and poppers fasten smoothly, and I love that the pockets have hidden poppers for a clean finish. They hold tissues and lip balm comfortably, though I do wish they were slightly bigger.

I always prefer heavy-duty jackets and coats that keep me warm without feeling scratchy during winter. During our last house move from London in January 2023, we had to sleep without blankets for two nights, and honestly, our old polyester-lined hooded puffers saved us then!

For this coat, the polyester wadding traps warmth beautifully without overheating. It’s perfect for moderately cold days and warm enough for brisk walks with the zip open. It’s also breathable indoors, which I appreciate.

It’s machine washable, which is a win for anyone who lives in their coats all season. I’ll be washing it later this month, so will add my experience here, stay tuned!

Overall, this hooded quilted coat looks and feels like the perfect blend of practicality and polish. It’s warm, thoughtfully designed, and versatile enough to dress up or down. The forest green hue gives it a festive feel while staying timeless enough to wear beyond Christmas 😉.

  1. This is such a cute set. I am a sucker for argyle, so I need that sweater. The coat will keep me warm during the winter for sure.

  2. Marie Cris Angeles

I’ve been wanting to style a winter fit, but I can’t. Here in my country, we don’t have winter anymore, only summer and the rainy season.

  3. Both of these will make great gifts this Holiday. My favorite is that quilted coat, my youngest love a good, cute, stylish quilted jacket. She loves to layer it up!

  4. I love the colours on the jumper, it’s so pretty. There’s a Klass store I always pass when I go shopping but I’ve never been in before, I may need to change that x

  5. These are cute pieces! I love the combination. I’m not familiar with this brand – it sounds like they have some great stuff. It is nice to have some fun stuff for the winter month.

  6. The Klass’s Hooded Zig Zag Quilted Coat and Knit Jumper looks like an awesome gift pare to give this Christmas season. Thanks for this lovely recommendation!
