Hi everyone,
I hope you are having a great time with your family! Are you a summer person or a winter? I am a summer girl, and these days, I am enjoying the bright summer weather here in my country, the UK. Anyway, I am sharing my beauty haul for 2024 with their first impressions (including my recent India trip shopping) on the blog today. Therefore, without further ado, let’s move on to the products 😍.
My Beauty Haul 2024 Part 2 + First Impressions:
It’s been a long time since I did any makeup product shopping, to be honest! I admit I got several makeup products in my old beauty subscription boxes. But I hardly use them as most products do not suit my skin tone or are not great! Hence, I decided to buy a few new makeup products ideal for my medium-dark complexion and some tools to assist them. I also purchased some skincare products, especially moisturizers and sunscreen.
Let’s begin with the makeup products –
MAKEUP HAUL 2024:
MILANI Conceal +Perfect Longer Concealer, 140 Pure Beige
My favorite MUA content creator, Smeetha Deepak, suggested I try this concealer shade, hence the purchase. I use a color corrector to cancel out the dark circles but have never used any concealer until now. So, you can say this is my first makeup concealer! I purchased it from the BOOTS store.
The product says – a creamy, full coverage, water-resistant makeup that instantly conceals and lasts up to 12 hours. Perfect for concealing under-eye circles, blemishes, and skin discoloration. The formula contains Vitamin E to help replenish skin’s moisture and is available in 18 shades. Vegan.
I have used it only once and found it pretty good. I need to use it more often to see how it performs in different weather and situations. For the record, I have a medium-dark skin tone with a warm undertone (MAC NC40 for reference).

INGLOT Duraline Makeup Mixing Liquid
I have been reading/hearing about this product for a long time and always wanted to give it a try. So, when I spotted this beauty lying alone at the Inglot counter in Boots store, I immediately grabbed it. The purpose, you may ask? Well, I’ll use this product to create different colorful liquid eyeliners for my eyes, and that too waterproof!
The product says – this translucent liquid can be mixed freely with makeup products, making them waterproof and extending their shelf life. One drop will highlight the depth of color and make the product even more effective. Duraline will easily transform any eyeshadow into a waterproof eyeliner. It also facilitates the application of loose eyeshadows while enhancing their color. With it, you can quickly and effectively restore the correct consistency of a gel liner or brow pomade. It is a cosmetic that will undoubtedly become an indispensable item in your makeup bag.
Price & Qty= £10 for 9ml
Rimmel London Scandaleyes Exaggerate Eyeliner, 001 BLACK
Out of all the makeup products, I use eyeliners, kajal, and lip liners. So, I keep purchasing them to restock or try a new variant. I rarely use eyeshadows or lipstick!
Anyway, I already use Rimmel London Glam eyeliner in black and love it so much. Hence, I wanted to give this Scandaleyes Exaggerate liquid eyeliner a try this year. I used it once and loved that its color is shiny jet black, not matte. I didn’t like the applicator, though!
The product says, discover the cult-classic eyeliner that will not budge. Rimmel London Exaggerate Eyeliner has always got you covered with a smooth, highly pigmented formula that glides on easily. Create precise graphic looks or a classic feline flick that will last up to 16 hours. This smudge-proof and flake-proof eyeliner does it all.
Price & Qty= £5.99 for 2.5ml

Rimmel London Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal, 005 NUDE

Barry M Bold Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil, BWE1 Black (cruelty free, vegan, British brand)
I have never tried any product from Barry M brand to date. But as my neighbor friend raved about this brand, I thought I must give it a try. Hence, I picked this black eyeliner pencil to try out first from the Superdrug store. If it works great, I will buy more products from this vegan, British brand.
The brand says- these luxurious, bold, waterproof eyeliners apply smoothly and precise while being waterproof and long-lasting. Available in selected bold shades for endless creative eye looks. 100% Cruelty Free & Vegan. PETA Certified.

BarryM Lip Liner Pencil, Dark Pink LL2 (cruelty free, vegan, British brand)
My old pink lipliner expired last year, and I wanted to buy a new one. So, I also got this pink lip pencil in the shade LL2 from BarryM brand. I wore it only once during an event in my hometown. The color looked nice and felt comfortable on the lips.
The brand says – create a perfectly defined pout with our Lip Liners, available in a range of flattering shades to complement every skin tone. Our Lip Liners have a creamy, non-tugging formula that lasts. 100% Cruelty Free & Vegan.

Kay Beauty HD Loose Setting Powder, in the shade Latte 04:
I purchased the loose setting powder from our Indian actress Katrina’s brand Kay Beauty, during our recent trip to India. Indian brands obviously have a nice range of shades for our Indian skin tones, so it is a no-brainer! I tried both Almond 03 and Latte 04 shades. But as the store did not have a fresh set of Almond shades, I had to buy the Latte 04 only for my wheatish, medium-dark complexion. They both suited my skin tone, under the store’s lighting, though!
I returned from India with a more tanned skin tone, thanks to my homeland’s hot & humid weather! Hence, I am not trying out these newly bought products (concealer/face powder), as I know they will not suit my skin tone till the tanning goes away. I’ll try to use this powder ASAP and share my thoughts with you. Stay tuned!
The Kay Beauty Loose Powder comes in three variants to set, finish, and illuminate your makeup and face. I got the setting powder! The product says- Kay Beauty Setting Powder is here to extend the life of your makeup. A few dabs can lock your makeup in place, keep shine to a minimum, and soak up sweat and oil in a flash. The powder is super lightweight and reduces shine. It comes in 8 shades that are carefully curated keeping in mind all Indian skin tones and undertones.

Sugar Cosmetics 01 Grand Finale Matte Setting Spray
I was looking for a matte setting spray for the sweaty summer season. I wanted to get the Faces Canada setting spray, but since it was unavailable at the beauty stores in Pune & my hometown in Assam, I got this Sugar Cosmetics Grand Finale setting spray instead. I haven’t yet used this product, so I am super excited to give it a try!
The brand says- it’s time to bid farewell to melting and moving makeup and welcome a one-stop solution for all your Makeup setting needs. The SUGAR Grand Finale Setting Mist is here to lock and seal your makeup! 01 Grand Finale Matte Setting Mist For a shine-free, soft look. It is dermatologically tested and approved, Paraben-free, and cruelty-free.

Lakme Eyeconic Kajal in Deep Black, 24 Hours Long-lasting Kohl Liner:

Auric Intensiv Kajal in the shade Earthy Brown:
The last brown eye pencil I tried in 2018 was from the Sasatinnie brand in Hong Kong. You can read its review here. Since I had no brown kajal, I thought of getting one from this Indian beauty brand, Auric. I have never tried any products from Auric Beauty, so I am excited to try out this brown kohl eyeliner.
The brand says – this product glides gently over the skin while unique polymers ensure a super rich and thick pay-off with intense lines that stay crisp. The richly pigmented creamy formula glides on smoothly, to give a crease-free finish.
