My Stay At Luxury Hotel Park Rotana, Abu Dhabi | Hotel Review

Located nearby Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and Khalifa Park, Park Rotana hotel is a renowned luxury hotel in Abu Dhabi- the capital of the UAE & the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. We stayed for four days and three nights at this luxurious five-star hotel which is managed by Rotana Industries. If you’re visiting this city soon and planning to stay at a polished hotel, then read on my staying experience at Park Rotana, Abu Dhabi.

About Park Rotana Hotel, Abu Dhabi:

Situated within the Park Complex, which consists of Park Arjaan by Rotana, The Residences by Rotana and an office building occupied by twofour54 Abu Dhabi media zone, Park Rotana is a 5-star hotel in Abu Dhabi and is a mere 5 minutes drive to Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and ADNEC. The hotel is also near Abu Dhabi International Airport and Yas Island, which are just 20 minutes away. (Source: Official)

How to get to the Park Rotana Abu Dhabi:

To reach the Park Rotana hotel from Abu Dhabi International Airport, it will take around 20 to 30 minutes by car, depending upon the traffic. We arrived at the airport around 7 pm, hired a cab and reached the hotel almost within half an hour. 

My Stay at Luxury Hotel Park Rotana, Abu Dhabi

Soon after we arrived at Park Rotana hotel, the diligent staff greeted us with a sweet smile and led us to the front-desk personnel for the room check-in formalities. They also offered us to try some tasty dates (dry-fruits) that were kept in the lobby area likely for the hotel residents. Dear husband completed all the official formalities while I took a small tour around the stunning lobby area.

We all know that the first impression is the last impression especially when you visit a place of stay like hotel/resort/someone’s house. The impressive Park Rotana hotel’s utterly modern, functional & elegant décor left us amazed! The well-designed lobby space features a guest lounge, café, a beauty salon & gift shops. As you enter the hotel, on your right, there is ‘Parkafe’ -a typical European-style cafe and on your left is the reception desk.

The lifts are located near the reception area. The bellboys are always ready to assist you with your luggage, exactly what we needed after a tiresome journey!

Sadly, during that trip due to my acute health issues, I couldn’t explore much Park Rotana (soon after this trip, I was hospitalised). I took rest maximum times & was saving all my energy for the Burj Khalifa, Etihad towers & Grand Mosque tour over the last days of our business trip.

Park Rotana Hotel Classic Room Details:

At Park Rotana, there are about 318 contemporary rooms & suites with 5-star amenities. For our 3-nights & 4-days stay at Park Rotana hotel, Abu Dhabi, we booked the CLASSIC ROOM with Club Rotana lounge package. You can also book specifically their Club Rotana rooms/suites accommodation (located on 9^th floor) that offers highly personalized service & other exclusive facilities. 

Our room was on the third floor. And thanks to the Club Rotana package, we got access to the lounge and other added privileges such as complimentary breakfast & selective beverages throughout the day, complimentary cocktails at the club lounge, etc. 

Our Classic room was well-lit, cozy, air-conditioned, and spacious with a nice city view. The room was well-appointed with all the luxurious amenities featuring a sofa lounge, mini bar, in-room safe, large cupboard, comfortable King bed, large smart TV, complimentary tea & coffee making facilities, hands-free communication system, 24 hours room-service and free high-speed wireless internet connection. 

The premium rooms have the same features but unlike other rooms, you get the views of stunning Khalifa Park or Zayed Bridge.

The attached bathroom was quite large and was equipped with a walk-in shower, a couple of towels, and bathrobes and a music system facility (connected to TV) which was kind of great relaxing experience for us while taking showers 😀 . The toiletries were nice, but I used my personal skin & hair care products.

The hotel staff team of Park Rotana is highly professional and efficient. The housekeeping personnel came every day to change the towels, bedsheets, and toiletries, ensuring that our room was as clean & fresh as the first day of our stay!!

Restaurants At Park Rotana, Abu Dhabi:

When in Park Rotana, get your taste buds ready to relish some delectable foods! I can happily say that our tummies enjoyed the variety of flavors at Park Rotana hotel.

Although Park Rotana has five dining outlets, most of the time we either enjoyed in-room dining or headed straight to the buffet restaurant Ginger All Day Dining that offers a great range of local and international dishes. 

If you want to enjoy a fun night out with your friends with scrumptious food then head to Cooper’s Bar & Restaurant – the hot & happening British Pub with a terrace at Park Rotana! But if you are craving for the authentic Asian & Italian food, Teatro is the right choice. For a quick snack or chitchatting with loved one over a coffee, Parkafe is the perfect place which is located right in the lobby. Aquarious Pool Bar is for those who desire to enjoy a drink or light meals by the pool!

Park Rotana food details:

The breakfast is served at Ginger, which is Park Rotana’s all-day dining buffet restaurant. For the lunch, I opted for in-room dining service every day because as I said earlier I wasn’t feeling well. And for the dinner, Ginger was again our choice for its delicious food and awesome hospitality.

My review will be incomplete if I don’t share a bit about this amazing dining venue- Ginger All Day Dining, at Park Rotana. It’s a warm, lovely buffet restaurant with a sleek interior design, nice ambiance, and a beautiful setting. 

To be honest, I have had the best buffet breakfast at Ginger, Park Rotana in a long time!! They have a great selection of food ranging from soups, bakery section, and beverages to desserts! The freshly cooked dishes that we tried were tasty and delightful. Ginger has both indoor & outdoor seating arrangements and also showcases live cooking!

Not only Ginger, but I guess Park Rotana’s all the restaurants offer great food and service. I tried their biryanis, lip-smacking burgers, pizzas maximum times during lunchtime in my room. Needless to say, they were all full of flavour and soul-satisfying! Husband’s colleagues were staying at the same hotel for meetings. They visited other in-house restaurants and were equally pleased with the food & service!

Club Rotana Review (Park Rotana Hotel):

As mentioned earlier that we upgraded our package with Club Rotana husband and I would visit the premier Club lounge, a hotel within a hotel every day to enjoy the cocktails & soft drinks with light snacks & desserts. The lounge is also perfect for casual business meetings or small parties with friends. The property features comfortable sofas, computers & separate work desk on one side, and food zone on the other offering a good variety of snacks and beverages. The staff members at Club Lounge, Park Rotana hotel are welcoming and courteous as well!

Other Services:

To keep your kids entertained, the hotel has kids swimming pool plus a play area with full of fun games and activities. Apart from this, Park Rotana also features a 24 hours gym for the fitness enthusiasts, sports facilities, temperature-controlled outdoor swimming pool, Bodylines Fitness and Wellness Club with spa and sauna rooms and six wellbeing treatment rooms to relax your mind and body during your stay. 

Besides, Park Rotana Abu Dhabi also has the Grand Park Ballroom and 6 spacious meeting rooms for the business purpose. They host corporate events or social occasion, boardroom meetings, workshops and conferences, to weddings and parties!!

Now, coming to the COVID-19 pandemic safety procedures at Park Rotana-

Park Rotana official team states-

The safety of our guests and employees at Park Rotana is of the utmost importance to us and as such we have created the Rotana Safe Space program. This covers enhanced cleaning protocols and a new safer approach to dining, including:

• Contactless self-check-in on arrival or using pre-arrival online check-in
• Contactless in-room dining and restaurant menus
• Contactless services via the Rotana app to make room and restaurant bookings, in-room requests and for express check-out
• Restaurants offer a grab-and-go packaged food option
• Room service is packaged and delivered with no human interaction

The hygiene procedures include –

● Increased frequency of cleaning, following a high touch points checklist in all areas of the

All in all, the luxury five-star hotel Park Rotana, Abu Dhabi, is certainly ideal for both leisure and business purposes. The famous tourist landmark The Grand Mosque and Khalifa Park are nearby that you can easily visit while staying at Park Rotana. I wish I were fit and fine, to do more fun!  Nonetheless, we thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at this well-appointed hotel, Park Rotana.
