My Experience with Yardley London English Rose hand cream (Review)
(Skin type: Dry hands)
Hand and foot creams are must-haves for me as the skin of my hands and feet are aging faster than my other body parts. I received this hand cream as a PR sample from the UK’s famous brand Yardley London a year ago, with their Lavender body lotion and English rose perfume. After using this product for a long time on my dry, rough, wrinkly hands, I am sharing my views on it today 🙂.
Product Packaging:
Yardley English rose hand cream comes in a pretty 100ml white and pink colored tube secured with a flip-top cap. The floral print on the packaging looks absolutely beautiful! You can find all the product-related details on the back of the packaging.
Product Texture:
Yardley London English Rose hand cream, has a smooth, creamy texture with a thick consistency. It has a lovely rose scent to it!
How does it work/Product Performance:
To moisturise my hands, I take a generous amount of the English Rose hand cream to my palms. Upon application, the cream gets soaked into the skin quickly without leaving any oily film.

As a rose scent lover, I enjoy its floral scent and have never found it overpowering. If you have used rose essential oils, you’ll have no issues with it. It contains PARFUM, so some may find its smell strong and artificial!
Yardley London English Rose hand cream is composed of 95% naturally derived ingredients. It contains some amazing skin-friendly ingredients like Glycerin, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Panthenol (Pro Vitamin B5), Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Oil, Tocopherol (Vit E), Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, etc.
I like using non-greasy hand creams during summer months, and this Yardley English Rose hand cream fits the bill! Since it is composed of some nourishing ingredients, I expected a high moisturizing effect from this hand cream. Sadly, to my dismay, it doesn’t deliver what it claims to do 😟! I require reapplying it every 2-3 hours to moisturize my dry and rough hands. My hands feel soft and nourished only for a few hours and then return to their original form (dry/wrinkly)!
Now I tend to casually touch my hair throughout the day, either for tying a bun or scalp scratching 😬! Hence, when my hands are fully moisturized and greasy, it makes my hair oily fast, which is not the case with this hand cream. Post-usage, I can run my palms easily through my hair without making it a greasy mess 😍! Also, my hands smell amazing when I use this English Rose hand cream. The fragrance lasts a couple of hours, as well.
Note: This product was provided to me free of charge by the company to review it. However, the opinions expressed in this review are independent and my own.
