Review: MAGNITONE London Eco-friendly Wipe Out Swipes

Today I am reviewing Magnitone London eco-friendly Wipe Out Swipes. These are re-usable microfibre makeup remover cleansing pads that promise to clean your face with just water. Sounds amazing, right? Want to know if they actually work? Keep reading to find out!

My Experience With MAGNITONE London Eco-friendly Wipe Out Swipes:

When I first got these eco-friendly cleansing pads in my beauty box a few years ago, I was pretty skeptical. I’d never tried anything like them before, so I was both confused and excited! After using these reusable makeup remover pads for a few years, I’m finally ready to share my thoughts.

Product Packaging:

The full-size pack comes with six wipes, but my sample pack had just two in grey and light pink. You can find all the key details on the outer packaging.

Texture:

These Magnitone cleansing pads are made of super soft microfibres. I have been using them since 2021. They are still nice and soft even after 3 years (see the conclusion part’s photo for reference)!

How I use these Magnitone Swipes?

As per the instructions, I wet one pad with warm water and swipe it across my face and neck to remove makeup. These swipes are a great first step in my makeup cleansing routine. After that, I use a cleansing balm followed by a gentle face wash. I always do a double or triple cleanse when I wear a full face of makeup because I don’t want to take any risks with my skin.

For my simple everyday makeup, I skip these swipes and just use my regular face wash and micellar water. After cleansing, I apply a hydrating serum, moisturizer, and lip balm.

Performance: 

The brand claims the microfibres swell when wet to trap makeup particles, so you only need water to remove makeup with one swipe. Cool, right? But does it really work? 🤔

Yes, these Wipe Out Swipes do remove makeup instantly, if not completely! They make taking off your makeup easy and effortless. But, if you wear heavy-duty waterproof makeup, these pads alone won’t cut it. They’re just the first step in my skincare routine 🙂.

These sustainable microfibre cleansing pads are super handy when you’re traveling or too tired at night. You can use them for anything you’d normally use cotton pads for, like applying toner or cleansing lotion. I also use them to wipe off cleansing balm or face masks. They’ve never irritated my skin or caused any issues!

These Swipes feel super soft and gentle on the skin. However, I have noticed that they lose their shape when wet, which can make makeup removal a bit tricky 😔.

Nonetheless, these Magnitone reusable Wipe out Swipes are machine washable (at 30 degrees) and fast-drying ❤️. I always clean them separately from other laundry. Once dried, they’re soft and like new again 😉!
